Comments: The refrigerators and deli coolers were less than 45F. All the food temperature tested within them was less than 45F. However, the deli cooler sits right next to deep fryer. The top portion of the cooler, where the deli sandwich meats, cheese and sliced produce are located, is exposed to a lot of heat from the deep fryer. Staff is encouraged to keep the lid closed as much as possible; to keep a minimal amount of sandwich food in the cooler top, and to check the food temperaturen freqently, using the calibrated thermometer, throughout the business day.
