Comments: Both refrigerators in kitchen area adequate temperatures. Janice Tuttle; Kitchen Manager present at time of inspection. Active sanitization with bleach and water at time of inspection. Fire extinguisher last serviced April 2018. Operator monitors rinse cycle of dishwasher and states that it is actively reaching manufacturer’s recommended 185 degrees. Strawberries, bananas, yogurt, and granola said to be on menu. All violations may result in enforcement. Education given on all deficiencies.

Comments: Facility dishwasher working properly and maintaining proper disinfection. Plumbing fixed at kitchen sink prior to inspection. All refrigerators and freezers maintains proper temperature. Continue to clean and sanitize all food products packaging prior to use if being stored in hallway storage cabinets. Shelving in hallway cabinets need to be properly cleaned when standing dust is visible.

Comments: All deficiencies observed in the 1/28/2016 Inspection Report have been corrected satisfactorily. The food in both refrigerators is fresh, and the wash/rinse temperatures on the Mechanical Dishwasher was 170/196 degrees F, well above the minimums. The Dry Food Storage Shelves in the locked cabinets have been repainted and now present smooth, non-porous, easily cleanable surfaces. The can opener was just washed and exhibits no food/residue build-up. Report e-mailed.

The Air Temperature of the Whirlpool Refrigerator/Freezer where the raw shell eggs and milk are stored is 38 degrees F and the temperature of American Cheese Slices in the other Whirlpool Refrigerator/Freezer was 41.3 degrees F. The operator stated that the building that Head Start is currently occupying has been sold and they may have to relocate to a different building before September 2016.
